European Pinball Championship 2024
Rules

FRIDAY (20.09)

MAIN TOURNAMENT - qualifications
256 players divided into 4 groups of 16 players, in 3 time slots (S1, S2, S3)
Play 15 rounds head-to-head. Top 7 players from each group and the 16 highest scoring players ranked between 8th and 16th from all groups advance (112+16). Number one and two in each group get two byes, and number three and four get one bye. The groups are composed based on the IFPA ranking. Ties for byes (concerns only top 7) and for qualifying are broken by additional game (fast ball - if needed).

70's/80's TOURNAMENT - qualifications
256 players in 3 time slots (S1, S2, S3)
Play 8 rounds 4-player Group Matchplay. Top 22 players (for S1 and S3), and top 26 players (for S2), and the 10 highest scoring players not qualifying from all groups advance (70+10). Players from 1 to 4 in each group get two byes, and from 5 to 8 get one bye. Ties for byes (concerns only top 22/26) and for qualifying are broken by additional game (fast ball - if needed).
SATURDAY (21.09)

MAIN TOURNAMENT - play-offs
Round 1 - 64 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 2 - 32 players + 32 with 1 bye head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 3 - 32 players + 32 with 2 byes head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 4 - 32 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 5 - 16 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system

70's/80's TOURNAMENT - play-offs and final
Round 1 - 56 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 2 - 28 players + 12 with 1 bye head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 3 - 20 players + 12 with 2 byes head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 4 - 16 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 5 - 8 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 6 - 4 players play head-to-hea, best of 5 system
Round 7 FINAL - 2 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system

TEAM TOURNAMENT
Four players per team, max. 16 teams (one per country)
Format best of 3 – two single matches and one split flipper (double), untill only 1 team left, no final.
Last game (FINAL), best of 5. The first 3 games have to position all 4 players. Any two players can play game 4 and 5.

PINGOLF TOURNAMENT - qualifications
12 games to play in the pingolf format. The best 16 players advance. In each phase of the Pingolf tournament, ties for byes and for qualifying will be broken by additional game (fast ball - if needed).
SUNDAY (22.09)

MAIN TOURNAMENT - play-offs and final
Round 6 - 8 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 7 - 4 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system
Round 8 FINAL - 2 players play head-to-head, best of 5 system

PINGOLF TOURNAMENT - play-offs and final
Round 1 - 16 players play in groups of 4 on 4 machines, pingolf scoring
Round 2 FINAL - the winners of each group, 4 players, play the final in a group of 4 on 4 machines, pingolf scoring
